I like oranges. Skokie, IL is a remarkably unpleasant place to be when you're waiting for a cab that you were told would come, but it's been 50 Goddamned minutes and you have to call on that cold, loud, filthy payphone again demanding they send a cab, and you've been noticing an American Taxi car sitting in the corner with it's lights off since you called but is it your responsibility to knock on Stavros's window to wake him up?! Obviously it was... And sure enough, Stavros was my driver. And I still tipped him, that bastard! Oh, and the closed Greyhound bus station in Skokie by the Yellow line is the saddest place in the world. So in summation... Skokie bad. Oranges good. everything seems flat today. no life. time dragging on.
